GITAM Medical College is a constituent college of GITAM (Deemed to be) University. GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Visakhapatnam is approved by UGC-MHRD and has an attached medical college.
GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research through its nine departments, offers a range of courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels courses. GIMSR is a private, deemed university with campuses in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, and Bangalore.
The dress code at GITAM is full-length casual attire; however, sleeveless tops or shirts are not encouraged. The dress code for lab sessions is formal such as a kurta for girls and collared shirts for boys.
