Eligibility Criteria to study MBBS at Islami Bank Medical College Hospital
Medical students must achieve the following basic prerequisites to get MBBS seats at Islami Bank Medical College Hospital:-
- Applicants must have finished the 12th grade (10+2=12 years) of schooling at a public school/board/college or passed a recognized upper secondary certificate examination in any other country (SSC).
- Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as major/compulsory courses.
- Applicants must have received at least a 75 percent average (which is equivalent to a GPA of 4.0 or equivalent grade in Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary School Certificate examinations or equivalent examinations (i.e. equivalent grade in A-level or O-level examination) and at least a 65 percent in either of these examinations separately) (i.e. GPA 3.50 or equivalent grade).
- In the case of the O-level test, marks and grades from just six subjects (the top six subjects based on marks/grades attained) would be considered. In the event of the A-level test, marks/grades from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology will be included for evaluation.
- Applications must be submitted in the format specified (to be available from the college website). Along with the application, attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, and so on are required. The Ministry of application must conform to all certificates and mark sheets.
- During admission, all original academic credentials and mark sheets will be required for successful applicants.
