Nepal, a South Asian country, is the 49th largest country by population
and 93rd largest country by area. Over a lakh square kilometers, Nepal suffices a population
of twenty-eight million. It is bordered by Tibet in the North, and Bangladesh in the south
part. It’s diverse geography, rich flora, and fauna, fertile plans, rich cultural aspects,
makes Nepal an exquisite country.
The Constitution of Nepal affirms Nepal as a secular-federal
parliamentary republic, that is divided into seven provinces. All mother languages are
spoken in Nepal, and the diversity in ethnic groups include, Chhetri, Magar, Bahun, Newar,
Tamang, Tharu, Gurung, Thakuri, etc. Nepal is progressive in its academics, economy, and
education; and tourism; which makes it ideal for not only tourism but for pursuing higher
education at a subsidized fee structure. It cannot be debunked that Tourism is the
fastest-growing aspect of Nepal’s economy, contributing to about 1.7 percent of the total 6
percent of total South Asia. Some of the UNESCO declared world heritage sites include:
Sagarmatha National Park, Lumbini, Chitwan National Park. Being a secular country, Nepal has
a harmonious acceptance for every religion and celebrates every occasion with equal
priority: Holi, Dashain, Tihar, Teej, Chhath, Maghi, Sakala, Christmas.
