TRR Medical College is a famous medical college in Telangana. It is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal. TRR Group of Institutions (TRRGOI) was founded in 2000 by Sri T. Ram Mohan Reddy, who was deeply concerned about the challenges faced by rural students in pursuing professional education and building a brighter future. Motivated by these challenges and after consultations with community leaders, educators, and social equity advocates, he established TRRGOI with the mission of providing quality higher education at an affordable cost.
Initially, TRR Medical College offered diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs in Engineering and Technology. Recognizing the critical need for healthcare services, particularly in rural areas, a 350-bed hospital was established in Inole village. TRR Institute of Medical Sciences was launched in 2019 after obtaining approval from the former Medical Council of India, with an annual intake of 150 students. The institution currently hosts its fourth batch of students, with admissions for the fifth batch expected in August 2024.
